Recipe: Chili con carne

Mar 03, 2015 This is one of our favourite meals. It's being prepared within less than an half hour and tastes fantastic. If you like it hot - as we do - then you'll love this. If you don't... Well, then just leave the flask of tabasco in the supermarket and try it without the liquid fire. For those milksops of you, that's fantastic as well.


The ingredients




  • 1 red or yellow paprika

  • 1 onion

  • 1 clove of garlic

  • 1 can of corn

  • 1 can of beans

  • 1 can of tomatoes

  • 500g mincemeat

  • 250 ml beef tea (or some salt, look at the text)

  • Tabasco

  • maple sirup

  • paprika spice

  • cumin

  • dark chocolate

How to prepare the chili Okay. At first you wanna fry the corn until it gets lightly brown. Put it in a cup for later. After that is done, dice the onion and the garlic and roast it a little. Add the mincemeat and fry everything. Now add the tomatoes, the roasted corn, the beans and the spices. Don't forget the tabasco, if you like it hot like a man. If you add some salt along with two or three pieces of dark chocolate (really great!) and a little maple sirup, it's ready to be served.

BUT: If you wanna make it even better (and we know you do), replace the salt with the beef tea and let it simmer for some hours. Then let it rest for one night and reheat it the next day.
